Yanhong Zhang, Co-Founder and CEO of SmartGarden, brings experience in business management and manufacturing the company where she is applying the use of a manufactured smart sensor in gardening. Holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Canterbury, she excelle in roles as Financial Director to General Manager in China at Suzhou Industrial Park Huayi Electromechanical Co Ltd, enhancing production processes and expanding product lines. At SmartGarden, her focus is on integrating advanced technology with consumer gardening solutions, aiming to optimize efficiency while catering to the preferences of eco-aware and technology-inclined customers. Her strategic vision and industry experience are key to positioning SmartGarden as a frontrunner in the global smart gardening industry.
Lucy Wang, co-founder and Chief Financial Officer of SmartGarden, applies her extensive expertise in economics, trade, and financial management to direct the company's financial strategy and operations. Educated at Shanxi Agriculture University, her career advanced from handling international the finances of various Qingdao-based companies engaged in international trade. At SmartGarden, Ms. Wang is pivotal in maintaining financial health, guiding economic strategy, and navigating complex financial landscapes to promote sustainable growth. Her leadership ensures that SmartGarden’s financial operations support its mission to make smart gardening accessible worldwide.

• Actively develop and expand sales channels (B2B & B2C): garden centers, nurseries,
landscaping companies, home improvement stores, e-commerce platforms, etc.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, retailers, and key accounts
• Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, and promotional events
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to refine sales strategies
• Achieve and exceed sales targets across assigned regions
• Frequent domestic (and occasional international) travel required
• 3+ years of sales or business development experience
• Proven track record of hitting or exceeding sales targets
• Experience selling gardening, horticulture, lawn & garden, smart home, or consumer electronics products is a strong advantage
• Passionate about plants, gardening, technology, or sustainable living (a big plus!)
• Self-motivated, hungry for success, and full of sales energy
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Willing and able to travel frequently (30%–40% travel expected)
